The credentials office is responsible for:
- Evaluating all credits taken from other colleges or universities, including foreign transcripts
- Processing all waivers, substitutions, advanced placement credit, work experience and credit-by-exam
- Processing graduation requests for all degrees and certificates granted by NSCC
- International Credit Evaluation
A formal credit transfer evaluation for Transfer Degrees and Professional/Technical Programs is only necessary if you want credits from another college or university applied toward your degree or certificate requirements at North Seattle Community College. You do not need a formal credit evaluation if you only want to use credits from other institutions to fulfill NSCC class prerequisites — just bring an unofficial copy of your transcript to the Advising Center for a registration entry code.
